COVID-19 Update

Dear Friends of Greenville Theatre,

It is with great disappointment that we must inform you that Greenville Theatre will again need to postpone shows due to Covid-19.

Many theatres have postponed their entire seasons already, but we have clung to the hope that the pandemic would abate and/or vaccines and treatments would diminish the virus’s threat.  So we have chosen to postpone blocks of shows at a time as the status of the pandemic is updated.  Unfortunately, Covid-19 shows no sign of going away anytime soon.  The cases continue to increase and the holidays are fast approaching.

After consulting with medical experts, we now believe that it will be very possible that we would be able to present our spring productions as scheduled:

A FLEA IN HER EAR... April 15 - 25, 2021

CELEBRATE 95... May 6 - 9, 2021

MAMMA MIA!... June 4 - 27, 2021

Previous postponements remain as follows:

DIXIE SWIM CLUB... July 29 - August 15, 2021

THE PRODUCERS... September 10 - 26, 2021

HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES... October 22 - November 7,  2021

ELF: THE MUSICAL... December 3 - 19, 2021

ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT’S END will now be presented January 13 - 23, 2022

GUYS AND DOLLS will now be presented March 4 - 20, 2022

On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and performers, we cannot thank you enough for your support.  If you are a 19/20 or 20/21 subscriber or patron, your seats will of course be guaranteed, just at a later date than originally scheduled.

Also, if you have tickets to our concert shows RUMOURS:  A Fleetwood Mac Tribute and/or THE RETURN: A Beatles Tribute, your seats have been transferred to the new corresponding date. The new dates are:

RUMOURS February 4, 5, and 6, 2022

THE RETURN February 10, 11, 12, and 13, 2022

We apologize for the continuing postponements due to Covid-19, but again, we greatly appreciate your support and understanding.  The Greenville Theatre is currently in survival mode, but we know this crisis will end, and we will all be able to experience live theatre again soon. As soon as this public health crisis has passed, Greenville Theatre will be back bigger and better than ever.
