MISS NELSON IS MISSING

This year we will be performing Miss Nelson is Missing. Based on the beloved children’s book of the same name, this hysterical and engaging musical follows the poorly behaved students of Miss Nelson’s elementary school class as they deal with the sudden arrival of the nefarious Miss Viola Swamp. This show keeps students laughing and dancing along as Miss Nelson’s students learn the merits of being respectful students and recognize the value of a great hardworking teacher. Greenville Theatre on Tour has been bringing high quality and professional theatrical experiences to students since 2000, and we are so thankful to continue serving as many amazing schools as possible!

Since 2000, Greenville Theatre on Tour has inspired over 200,000 elementary students through the magic of live theatre. GT on Tour brings shows directly to your school, eliminating the need for field trip details and buses. GT on Tour performances are tailored for students from Kindergarten to fifth grade. Each production has a cast of professional actors, scenery, and costumes that are performed in your gym, multipurpose room, and yes, even your cafeteria!
Following the performance, the actors hold a ‘talk back’ session with the students, allowing the children to ask any questions they may have about the show or the actors. GT on Tour selects shows from school reading lists, and to help integrate our performance into the classroom, we provide a study guide created by a curriculum expert according to Common Core standards!
