Mission

Charlotte's Web
By Joseph Robinette
This coming school year, we are thrilled to present a heartwarming and whimsical adaptation of Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, dramatized by Joseph Robinette. Follow the story of Wilbur, a humble pig, and his extraordinary friendship with a wise and kind spider named Charlotte. Together, they discover the power of words, loyalty, and love. With all the classic book characters your students will remember, this production brings the classic barnyard tale to life. GT on Tour hopes to inspire students to explore this beloved book and celebrate the magic of storytelling and friendship.

Greenville Theatre on Tour
Since 2000, Greenville Theatre on Tour has inspired over 200,000 elementary students through the magic of live theatre. GT on Tour brings shows directly to your school, eliminating the need for field trip details and buses. GT on Tour performances are tailored for students from Kindergarten to fifth grade. Each production has a cast of professional actors, scenery, and costumes that are performed in your gym, multipurpose room, and yes, even your cafeteria!
Following the performance, the actors hold a ‘talk back’ session with the students, allowing the children to ask any questions they may have about the show or the actors. GT on Tour selects shows from school reading lists, and to help integrate our performance into the classroom, we provide a study guide created by a curriculum expert according to Common Core standards!
