GT Junior MT players

Greenville Theatre is excited to announce the launch of our young performers musical theatre masterclass series: GT Junior MT Players. Students will have the opportunity to learn from a range of instructors including Broadway performers, directors, and members of Greenville Theatre's

Resident Acting Company. This exciting opportunity is geared toward young performers looking to expand their musical theatre knowledge and skill set. With classes ranging from audition techniques, song interpretation, singing, acting, and dancing, there is truly something for everyone! This is an audition based series for students between the ages of 12-18. All eleven classes will be taught

by different guest instructors culminating in a live performance. These workshops will be held in our rehearsal hall (McCalla Hall) at the back of our building from 10:00AM-12:00PM. The classes will be held every Saturday between September 4th to November 13th. 

 

The cost for this series will be $350 per student.

If you are a member of the GT Junior Players, it will only cost $300. 

 

Auditions will be held on Saturday August 28th from 10:00AM-12:00PM in McCalla Hall, located at the back of our building. Email our Director of Education, Carter Allen at carter@greenvilletheatre.org to schedule an audition. Audition information: Please prepare a short song up to 2 minutes in length (which is the equivalent of 1 verse and a chorus or 32 bars of music). Actors will be required to provide their own accompaniment having access to our bluetooth speaker (YouTube karaoke tracks).
