AUDITION DATE

Saturday, February 28, 2026, 1pm-4pm

 

SEEKING

4 young actors to alternate in both the roles of Young Anna and Young Elsa. Actors must be between the ages of 7-14 and must be no taller than 4’9” to audition for Young Anna and no taller than 5’1” to audition for Young Elsa. Young actors will also be featured in the ensemble when not playing the roles of Young Anna or Young Elsa. Seeking only local actors with local housing and assisted transportation means.

 
We will be accepting video audition submissions in addition to our in-person appointments. Video submission details and instructions will be provided separately by email request only.

  

SUBMISSION

Please follow the instructions to secure your audition time through SignUp Genius to select your time.

 If you are unable to attend auditions in-person, you may submit a virtual audition by emailing casting@greenvilletheatre.org. We will provide you with detailed instructions for your virtual audition.

I am seeking instructions to submit a virtual audition for Disney’s Frozen at Greenville Theatre.

 

Virtual auditions must be submitted by Thursday, February 25, 2026 at 6pm for consideration.

 

PREPARATION

NO OUTSIDE MUSIC IS REQUIRED 

Each young actor will sing a short cut of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Let the Sun Shine On” from the show for their audition. A backing track and sample track have been provided. You will sing with the backing track for your audition. No matter which role you are interested in, you will sing both songs. 

There is also a short scene. Please read the scene as the character you believe you are most right for. Someone will read the scene with you on the audition day. 

 

Please bring a hard copy of your headshot (picture) and resume, stapled together back to back, if you have those. If you do not have a professional headshot, please provide the creative team with a current photo.

 

There will be no callbacks for these roles. 

 

All young actors will hear from Greenville Theatre by Monday, March 2nd about our casting decision. 



AUDITION LOCATION/ CHECK-IN INFORMATION

Check-in: 

Please go to our theatre’s “Stage Door” located on the right side of the building when facing the backend. There will be a monitor to greet you and check you in. You may wait in the Greenroom until the monitor lets you know it is your time to head to the rehearsal hall for your audition. Restrooms are available in our backstage area for usage.

McCalla Hall, located at the back of our theatre. Auditions will be in progress so please do not come into the rehearsal hall. 

 

Parking: 

Parking is free and located behind our building. This is a shared parking lot with the other buildings on Heritage Green. Parking can be tricky on the weekend, so please give yourself time. There is no need to take a ticket on the weekend as parking is free.

Young Anna: vocal range Bb3-E5

Younger princess of Arendelle with youthful exuberance; fun-loving troublemaker; mesmerized by her sister’s magic.

 

Young Elsa: vocal range A3-E5

Elder princess of Arendelle with magical powers; obedient daughter; protective sister.



DETAILS 

Greenville Theatre is the oldest and largest professional producing non-profit theatre company in the Upstate area. Now in Season 100, our Mission is to inspire, educate, entertain, and connect our community through necessary art and storytelling.

In order to participate in any production, actors must have minimal conflicts and be available for all of tech week, preview week, and every performance. Our productions rehearse Monday-Friday 7pm-10:30pm, with Saturdays off, and Sunday rehearsals from 1pm-6pm. Our performance schedule runs Thursday-Sunday with 7:30pm evening shows, Saturday matinees at 2pm, and Sunday matinees at 3pm. Actors are called 1 hour prior to showtime. 

*Young Actors will be released at 9:30pm at the latest for rehearsals with the exception of designer runs and tech week.*

 

As an organization, we are dedicated to a casting process that is nurturing and welcoming to all. We create an audition space where individuals are seen, heard, respected, and appreciated. We can’t wait to see your work!
